Welcome!

This is is my new food blog! Stay tuned for the action during VeganMoFo.

A little background: I ate a pretty hardcore meat n' spuds diet up until 2008, then switched to a raw vegan diet to heal my ulcerative colitis. Months later, it became apparent that veganism is totally awesome; I was hooked.

As much as I love smoothies and salads, I yearned for cooked comfort foods of yore. Fortunately I found The Post Punk Kitchen. Since then I've impressed friends and family, hosted decadent dinner parties, cooked for hundreds at free veg lunches and survived as a vegan in rural MO, 40 miles from the nearest carton of soy milk. Thank you for all the help, PPKers!

It can't be a vegan food blog without pixxx! Two of my creations, made from scratch:

1) Seitan Chicken Nuggets

















2) Mediterranean Pizza: pita crust, hummus, falafel crumbs, tofu 'feta', zucchini, spinach and olives.
